Our Client is looking for the next great addition to our team! Client is a well-respected, innovative and growing Civil Engineering/Transportation firm located in beautiful city of San Antonio in South-Central Texas. They pride themselves on working collaboratively to provide their clients with the highest quality of service. Their work environment is fast-paced, client-focused and fun!

Client contribute their talents to the planning, design and completion of a variety of Transportation and Roadway projects. They specializes in Roadway, Drainage, Traffic, Construction Management and Inspection services for public agencies and private developers. 

Client currently has long-term public works contracts with both the State and Local municipalities and are looking to add to the team.

What skills and experience can you bring to the GKW team?

·       8+ years Civil Engineering experience in Transportation Design.

·       Four-year Civil Engineering degree is required.

·       Texas Civil Engineer’s license.

·       Knowledge of national and local codes and agency standards is a plus.

·       Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

·       Strong skills in Leadership, Project Management & QA/QC

·       Effective written and oral communication skills including proposal and report writing.

·       Experience tabulating bid items, calculating construction bid quantities and developing cost estimates.

·       Personal responsibility for completing quality work within budgets and timelines.

·       Proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

·       Responsiveness and flexibility; you adapt easily to changing priorities.

·       Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Design is a plus.

·       MS Office experience including Word, Excel and Outlook.

·       Comfortable networking with clients and colleagues to develop and maintain professional relationships.
