    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Job Title: Sales Representative
    Reports to: Sales Manager
    FLSA Status: Exempt
    Division: HPC
    Department: Sales
    Locations: Waipahu
    POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for selling new and used Toro, Club Car, and other Allied prime products and work tools to customers. The Sales representative identifies new prospects, develops strong client relationships, completes contracts, and is actively involved in the marketing of product lines on Oahu.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    1. Attracts potential customers by studying competition, building relationships, obtaining referrals, following up on leads, organizing special marketing events, and recommending pricing.
    2. Identifies potential customers by visiting prospects, identifying needs, assessing interests, explaining the product and options, and updating the customer database in Sales Link.
    3. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions, and sharing product knowledge.
    4. Completes sales and purchasing agreements by writing specifications and pricing changes, following up on loan applications and required paperwork, and ensuring customers are invoiced and payments received.
    5. Prepares professional sales presentations and quotations for customers.
    6. Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, and recommending profit and service improvements.
    7. Provides quality customer service by upholding the company's vision and standards.
    8. Maintains professional knowledge by attending training classes, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
    9. Maintains full knowledge and utilization of Sales Link, prepares reports, and updates records.
    10. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
    1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Must have a valid Drivers License with a good driving record.
    3. Must have PC skills.
    4. At least 2 years of industry experience and product specific sales experience required.
    5. At least 2 years of experience selling, renting, and handling similar equipment required.
    6. Must display expertise in business development and utilizing sales control systems.
    7. Must have excellent communication skills and proper business etiquette.
    8. Must be able to travel.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    1. Walking: Moves about on foot, often through uneven terrain and up and down stairs.
    2. Handling: Seizes, helps, or works with hands.
    3. Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts, tools, and paperwork.
    4. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
    5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
    6. Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
    7. Climbing: In and out of equipment.
    8. Vision: Reads spec sheets, invoices, parts books and service manuals, and reports on the computer.
    9. Talking: Communicates by phone and in person.
    10. Sitting: Sits in equipment and vehicles for extended periods.
    11. Lifting: Lifts up to 60lbs. daily, frequent exertion.
    12. Crawling: Crawls in, around, and under equipment.

    ENVIRONMENTAL:
    1. Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
    2. Temp/Weather: Works in both an office and outdoor environment with variations of temperature and weather.
