VICE PRESIDENT DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATED STRATEGY
Marketing & Innovation
Reports to: SVP or EVP , Integrated Strategy

Job Summary
The VP Director, Integrated Strategy defines and leads the strategic vision for integrated brand and engagement strategy across a significant portion of the portfolio.
You serve as a senior executive advisor to clients and internal leadership, ensuring integrated strategy drives brand differentiation, engagement excellence, and measurable business growth. You oversee strategic leaders across accounts while shaping capability development, innovation, and commercial expansion within Integrated Strategy.
This role requires enterprise-level thinking within healthcare marketing, deep pharmaceutical expertise, and the ability to align strategy, performance, and growth objectives across complex organizations.
Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
  • Define strategic standards and vision for integrated brand and engagement strategy across the portfolio
  • Serve as senior executive strategic advisor to top-tier client stakeholders
  • Oversee quality, rigor, and differentiation of strategic output across all assigned business
  • Ensure integration of brand positioning, customer journey strategy, omnichannel planning, and performance optimization
  • Guide portfolio-level KPI frameworks in partnership with analytics leadership
  • Drive strategic contribution to new business pursuits and agency growth strategy
  • Identify emerging healthcare marketing trends, regulatory considerations, and innovation opportunities
  • Shape division capability development across talent, tools, and integrated methodologies
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Group Directors and Directors
  • Partner with senior agency leadership to align Integrated Strategy with broader Marketing & Innovation priorities
  • Champion a culture of clarity, accountability, collaboration, and measurable business impact

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)
  • 12+ years in a strategy role
  • Extensive pharmaceutical marketing experience, including multiple product launches and lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, complex portfolios within healthcare communications
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and senior marketing leaders
  • Deep expertise across brand strategy and integrated engagement disciplines
  • Proven ability to drive measurable business growth through strategic leadership
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing strategy teams
