    Responsibilities
    At Keysight, we empower leading network equipment manufacturers, service providers, and cloud companies to design, implement, test, and deploy cutting-edge networking and cloud security solutions. As part of a team of innovators and domain experts, we contribute to the success of the networking ecosystem.
    We are seeking an Applications & Security Technical Marketing Engineer for our NEMs and Chipsets Business Development/Solution team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in networking and security, with the technical depth to engage with senior technical users, architects, and managers. This role involves working closely with customers in the Networking & Security ecosystem, Cloud, and Keysight's marketing and R&D teams. Your mission is to understand and address customers' network infrastructure and security validation needs from the lab to production environments.
    • Lead and execute various business, technical, and marketing initiatives related to the company's network infrastructure and security testing solutions.
    • Possess deep knowledge of public cloud and virtualized infrastructure, including automation tools/technologies such as Python and Terraform.
    • Stay up to date with emerging security technologies like SASE, ZTNA, LLM Security, Cloud Security, NGFW, and DDoS.
    • Engage directly with vendors in these areas to support business development or sales activities (a plus).
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, gaining insights into their needs and translating them into actionable solution requirements.
    • Influence product roadmaps and business strategies to align with customer demands.
    • Provide technical support and coordinate resources to secure strategic opportunities.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and assess emerging technologies.
    • Author technical documentation, including application notes, white papers, and briefs.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for Keysight's solutions through public seminars, technical conferences, and customer visits.

    Qualifications
    • Advanced-level experience with a background in planning, architecting, designing, implementing, testing, or maintaining on-premise infrastructure or cloud networks, with expertise in Ethernet technologies, networking, security, virtualization, and related technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as BPS, IxLoad, and CyPerf, and their application in cloud and network security environments.
    • Advanced knowledge of networking, cloud, and network security technologies.
    • Ability and willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
    • Experience deploying or testing networking and security systems such as SASE, ZTNA, Cloud Security Services, Next-Gen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.
    • Existing relationships and hands on working experience with technical users in the network security ecosystem (preferred).
    • Deep understanding of network and cloud security design and operations.
    • Familiarity with cloud automation and DevOps frameworks/tools like Jenkins, Python, and Terraform.
    • Knowledge of Docker containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
    • Strong understanding of compute and network virtualization.
    • 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a global, distributed team.
    • Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives across multiple departments.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred)

    The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
    California pay range: MIN $124,420 - MAX $227,530
    Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
    This role is eligible for our Keysight Results Bonus Program
