    Machine Fabrication Technician
    Location: Roanoke, TX
    Shift: 1st Shift / 6:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Thurs (4/10
    Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00hr
    Summit Staffing is hiring for a growing manufacturing company in Roanoke, TX! We are seeking a dependable Machine Fabrication Technician to join a precision metal fabrication team. This position is responsible for producing quality metal components, operating fabrication equipment, and supporting daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    Responsibilities
    • Operate CNC laser equipment and other fabrication machinery to produce precision metal components.
    • Load and unload raw materials onto production equipment.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
    • Perform quality inspections using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
    • Verify finished parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
    • Perform basic machine adjustments, tooling changes, and routine maintenance.
    • Complete production paperwork and document quality inspections accurately.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures to meet daily goals.
    Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining, laser operation, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred.
    • Experience operating CNC, punch press, brake press, or similar fabrication equipment is a plus.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
    • Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
    • Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
    • Manufacturing experience with steel, stainless steel, or aluminum fabrication preferred.
    Preferred Skills
    • CNC Laser experience (Trumpf or similar equipment)
