Job description

ROLEAs a Store Manager at Subway, you are the driving force behind our store's success. You will lead a high-performing team and oversee daily operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience while hitting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, productivity (SPLH), food cost, Quarterly REV scores, cash control, inventory accuracy, and more. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our store remains profitable, operationally sound, and community engaged.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, train, and reward outstanding team members.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure open communication and timely feedback across all levels.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations to guarantee high-quality food preparation, service, and store maintenance.
    • Enforce safety and food hygiene standards in line with local and national codes.
    • Manage cash control procedures and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
  • Performance Management:
    • Drive sales growth and maximize profitability by monitoring SPLH and food cost percentages.
    • Achieve and exceed Quarterly REV scores by making data-driven decisions.
    • Maintain precise inventory levels and control systems.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement:
    • Lead local marketing initiatives and community outreach programs to enhance store visibility and guest engagement.
    • Support the execution of national marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring the store is fully prepared for each window.
  • Special Projects & Administrative Duties:
    • Plan and execute special events and promotions within budget and on deadline.
    • Maintain accurate business records and perform regular analyses to uncover opportunities for revenue growth.

PAY

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK SCHEDULE
  • Ability to work in various areas of the store, including handling physical tasks (bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally).
  • Store managers must be flexible to work any shifts as required by store / company needs, including days/mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
