Job description

Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Taylor Mill, KY

Hire Type: Direct Hire
Benefits:  Benefits from day 1 with almost 100% coverage! In addition to 11 paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation, 401K, etc.
Shift: 3rd shift, Fri-Sun, 5am-5pm (work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)
Target Hourly: $26.00-28.00

Job Summary: Maintains equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program. Diagnoses, repairs mechanical problems, and performs emergency and proactive repairs of buildings and grounds, production equipment, and machinery while minimizing down time.

Job Duties:

  • Core competencies include:
    • Electrical
    • Hydraulics
    • Pneumatics
    • Controls
    • Programming
  • Knowledge of LOTO and SDS is required
  • Repair emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtime
  • Performs inspection of completed maintenance and documents results
  • Complete and maintains paperwork for maintenance performed
  • Assists in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisor
  • Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary
Advanced duties and responsibilities
 
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
  • Train other employees

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Vocational degree in a mechanical or electrical field or industrial maintenance or a combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing/maintenance experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • OSHA 10 hours certified
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • PLC experience
  • Electrical experience 120 + 480 volts, specially
  • Fanuc/CNC
  • Proven fabrication and welding experience
