Title: Civil / Mechanical Engineer – Natural Gas
Location: Houston, TX - Remote: Will occasionally meet clients in the Houston metro area
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $48-52/hr

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Civil / Mechanical Engineer to support natural gas projects in the Houston area. This role involves design, reporting, and field observation for utility infrastructure projects.

Job Duties:
  • Design and develop various natural gas projects.
  • Perform civil site design and prepare construction plans.
  • Develop design reports and technical documentation.
  • Conduct on-site observations as required.
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of experience in natural gas or utility engineering projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and other engineering software such as GasCalc, Pipeline Toolbox, BoreAid, or similar programs.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional onsite visits to project offices.
