Role and Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a unified and cohesive approach to market strategy, channel operations, field execution and sales enablement across Samsung's MX (Mobile eXperience) and CE (Consumer Electronics) divisions. This role exists to drive consistent brand messaging, optimize retail execution, and enhance customer experience by aligning internal teams, vendor partners, and retail channels. It also focuses on fostering strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve performance and competitive positioning. By integrating GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies, sales enablement programs, and field execution, this position aims to maximize commercial success and deliver a seamless Samsung story across all touchpoints.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Unified GTM Strategy and Execution: Develop and align GTM strategies for MX and CE, ensuring consistent brand messaging and a coherent Samsung story across all touchpoints.
  • Channel Ops Excellence: Provide executive oversight of Mobile and Consumer Electronics channel operations, driving shared standards and accountability to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Sales Enablement and Retail Readiness: Design and deploy integrated sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and incentives, to ensure retail readiness and sales effectiveness.
  • Field Execution and In Store Ownership: Ensure end-to-end accountability for field execution quality, optimizing store visits through improved mapping, sequencing, and reporting.
  • Retail Partner Relationships and Business Planning: Serve as the senior retail leader, driving commercial needs with partners and acting as the single point of contact for EVP leads of MX and CE.
  • Performance and Commercial Accountability: Define and report on individual (MX/CE) and One Samsung commercial scorecards, monitoring KPIs such as compliance, share of floor, and sales effectiveness.
  • Vendor Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with vendors, addressing escalations, building trust, and driving performance to position Samsung advantageously in the market.
  • GTM Strategy and Launch Execution (MX): Gain alignment across channel, product, marketing, and HQ teams, translating brand strategy into field-based executable activation plans.
  • Competitive Intelligence (MX): Own competitive intelligence across the MX landscape, building action plans and execution tools to position Samsung ahead of competitors.
  • Field Intelligence and Escalation: Synthesize field intelligence into actionable insights for channel teams, GTM teams, and business teams, ensuring continuous improvement and strategic adjustments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields, with relevant certifications in operations or sales enablement. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in channel operations and management, GTM strategy and execution, sales enablement and retail readiness. Minimum 10+ years of experience in vendor and retail partner relationship management. Leadership roles in cross-functional teams or operational excellence.
  • Comprehensive understanding of channel operations, vendor and retail partner dynamics, and operational excellence.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and incentives.
  • Strong grasp of field execution best practices, ensuring compliance, planogram integrity, and display execution.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer feedback to drive actionable strategies.
  • Proven skills in building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to address challenges and improve performance.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments, adapt to changing market conditions, and maintain a results-driven mindset.
