Role and Responsibilities

Our Display organization is seeking an Account Manager to secure new revenue, build end customer relationships and grow Samsung market share, within a B2B Channel sales environment. The incumbent will be a market business development leader focused on enterprise and mission-oriented Display solutions to meet client requirements in a dynamic environment. The role will focus on maintaining and growing business in the Restaurant and Retail industries and ensure an excellent client experience at all times. The role will be key in the development of near-term and long-term solution and GTM strategies, execution of multiple marketing approaches, and collaboration on product and technical roadmaps.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive awareness and maintain working knowledge of Samsung's B2B product portfolio (Smart Signage, Desktop Monitors, Indoor LED, Interactive Displays, and Solutions and Services), vertical solutions, and business market trends.
  • Manage new and existing national targets and identify incremental business within a fixed set of named accounts. Responsible for uncovering multiple business opportunities within a named account and working those projects through all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Integral to this role is the ability to collaborate with Samsung's distribution, channel partners, internal account managers, supply chain, operations, product management and marketing departments. The overall objective is to drive a greater awareness and acceptance of Samsung's full product portfolio into strategic corporate end user accounts within the Restaurant and Retail sectors, while achieving sales targets across Samsung product categories. Identify, develop, maintain, and leverage key decision maker/ C -level relationships within key strategic end-customers.
  • Responsible for creating and delivering compelling sales presentations. Develop and maintain partnerships between the company and end-customers through the management of sales process, negotiation of contracts and ongoing technical support relationships. Report on all sales activity and provide assessment of revenue opportunity along with model and unit forecast.
  • Maintain acute awareness of Samsung and competitor market share within in assigned accounts.
  • Understand and leverage the customer's funding and budgeting process to secure wins.
  • Collect requirements, identify viable solutions, overcome barriers, educate decision makers and their teams, such that Samsung solutions are the preferred technologies in response to customer requirements and enable Samsung to scale.
  • Identify, specify and lead enablement activities required to support assigned accounts.
  • Work with Team Director to develop and execute account strategies and customer-oriented engagement plans.
  • Business opportunity and forecast accuracy are paramount to this role. Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and strong internal alignment with operations and supply chain management, ensuring any/all deadlines are met when requested.
  • Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to internal stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
  • Create account plans through visual tools (PowerPoint) and present to leadership.
  • Perform long range planning (1 to 3 years) to drive revenue growth by increasing product placement, driving customer satisfaction and overall market share growth against assigned revenue/market share targets.
  • Responsible for maintaining weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and ensuring any/all deadlines are met when requested.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 6+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Sound business acumen with professional written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Operational knowledge working on a CRM platform.
  • Microsoft Office skills - PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills are a must.
  • Ability to work independently and travel up to 50%+ of the time across the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in Restaurant and/or Retail industries a plus.
  • Prior experience working with franchised organizations a plus
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of Samsung's B2B product portfolio (Smart Signage, Desktop Monitors, Indoor LED, Interactive Displays, and Solutions and Services) and vertical solutions.
