What You Will Do
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting systems failing test, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Investigate failure trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address systemic issues.
- Support troubleshooting and repairs for circuit card assemblies (CCAs), sub-assemblies, and systems for programs at McKinney CMC such as ATFLIR, Harpoon, EODAS, etc.
- Develop and maintain troubleshooting aids, tools, and documentation to support production and test processes.
- Work initiatives focused on reducing cycle time, minimizing touch time, and optimizing overall production costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges in production.
- Operate and utilize standard electrical equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, etc.) to support troubleshooting and system evaluations.

- Experience with standard electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Experience reading mechanical drawings or electrical schematics.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) product testing and/or Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) products.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), sub-assemblies, or complex systems.
- Familiarity with common circuit components, such as Op-Amps, Multiplexers, H-bridges, ADC/DACs.
- Experience designing experiments to troubleshoot failures or investigate production issues such as Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Familiarity in reading and interpreting memory maps and datasheets.
Strong skills in data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvement opportunities. - Excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
