    Job description

    Job Summary:
    RTX Corporation is an Aerospace and Defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our Physical Sciences & Systems business unit, responsible for executing test plans for software development efforts and hardware and software integration.
    Responsibilities:
    • Develop test plans, test procedures, and test tools for multiple programs
    • Perform testing of both HW and SW systems, isolate failures, and propose solutions
    • Interface with DoD clients executing formal sell-off test events and integration test periods
    • Work closely with development teams when bugs are identified to track and resolve issues
    • Requirements tracking and verification
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • An active DoD secret clearance
    • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline and 8 years of experience or MS grad with degree and 5 years of experience.
    • Test execution experience in software environments, and documentation of test results Experience with test tracking software tools.
    • Position may require some amount of overnight travel. Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
    Preferred:
    • Experience and knowledge of software development in C
    • Experience working with embedded systems
    • Experience with Atlassian toolset (i.e. Jira and Confluence)
    • Experience in QA or configuration management
