The role involves providing IT systems administration, troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating across teams, and managing server environments to support critical operations.

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Experience with troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Execute actions as directed by senior staff and project management.
• Engage in cross-team collaboration and align with expectations of leadership team.
• Design, develop and deploy containers.
• Participate in all phases of Engineering software installation and support, with emphasis on testing, documentation, and acceptance phases
• Manage ESXi, VCenter and Microsoft Windows domains
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
• Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
• Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.
• Full time 100% Onsite position.
