Job description

CMK Resources is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a highly structured enterprise cloud migration initiative focused on Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. This individual will serve as the central orchestrator for a large-scale, multi-workstream migration program with formal governance, strict delivery milestones, and zero tolerance for operational disruption.
This role requires a strong technical PM who can drive coordination across infrastructure, collaboration, identity, compliance, and cloud platform teams while maintaining executive-level communication, risk management, and delivery accountability throughout a migration program.
Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a multi-phase enterprise tenant-to-tenant migration program spanning:
    • Azure
    • Microsoft 365
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Intune
    • Power Platform
    • Compliance and identity workloads
  • Serve as the central orchestrator across multiple technical workstreams and stakeholder groups
  • Own development and execution of structured project plans, migration waves, and delivery milestones
  • Drive execution of Proof of Concept (POC) validation activities, including tooling validation, testing coordination, and formal Go/No-Go governance
  • Coordinate concurrent workstreams including:
    • Exchange and mail flow
    • SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams migrations
    • Endpoint and Intune management
    • Teams Voice
    • Power Platform and Azure DevOps
    • Azure subscription transfer and recreation activities
  • Lead development and execution of detailed migration runbooks including:
    • Cutover procedures
    • Rollback strategies
    • Coexistence planning
    • Post-cutover validation
  • Establish and manage project governance including:
    • Executive reporting
    • RAID tracking
    • Decision logs
    • Stakeholder communication
    • Phase gate management
  • Coordinate migration activities involving large-scale enterprise workloads
  • Drive cutover execution and hypercare support including:
    • Domain transitions
    • Identity enforcement
    • User reauthentication
    • Post-migration stabilization
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and critical migration constraints including:
    • eDiscovery and legal holds
    • AppId remapping
    • Managed Identity and RBAC rebuilds
    • Voice cutover coordination
Required Experience
  • Extensive experience leading enterprise Azure and Microsoft 365 migration programs
  • Strong technical project management background supporting infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives
  • Experience managing large, multi-workstream enterprise migration projects with formal governance structures
  • Proven ability to coordinate technical teams, executive stakeholders, and delivery milestones in highly organized environments
  • Strong understanding of Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and identity management concepts
  • Experience managing migration cutovers, hypercare, and risk mitigation planning
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting regulated or enterprise-scale environments
  • Previous experience managing tenant-to-tenant migration initiatives
  • Familiarity with Teams Voice and Azure RBAC migration activities
  • Candidates located in or near Dallas, TX preferred for occasional onsite collaboration sessions
