Job description

Hiring Immediately – Production Machine Operator Jobs – Cartersville, GA
Inergroup is hiring immediately for Production Machine Operator jobs in Cartersville, GA. As a Production Machine Operator, you support solar manufacturing operations by operating automated production equipment and following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role ensures stable, efficient production while maintaining safety and cleanroom compliance. Operators monitor equipment, handle materials, maintain accurate production documentation, and assist the Shift Leader in meeting production goals, minimizing downtime, and ensuring product quality.

Weekly pay starting at $19.50 - $20.50/hr and great benefits available!

Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work safely in a cleanroom environment and wear all required PPE.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to/less than 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and consistency in task execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned automated production equipment according to SOPs.
  • Monitor equipment alarms, respond appropriately, and escalate issues to the Shift Leader.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and end-of-shift closure activities.
  • Perform visual inspection of wafers and production output.
  • Conduct manual input/output material handling as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation (MES, PO, etc.) and log consumables removed from inventory.
  • Communicate equipment, production, or quality issues to the Shift Leader promptly.
  • Wear all required PPE, including cleanroom suit, gloves, safety glasses, and mask; additional PPE as required by area or task.
  • Adhere to cleanroom, environmental, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant production workspace.
