Compensation $25-$27 per hour.


Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Customer Support Specialist at Outlier AI Inc. The Customer Support Specialist will respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and video or phone, providing clear, accurate, and timely assistance. Daily tasks include troubleshooting basic and advanced technical issues, guiding customers through product features and workflows, and documenting recurring issues for product and engineering teams. The specialist will track support tickets, follow up to ensure resolution, and contribute to customer-facing resources such as FAQs, help center articles, and quick-start guides. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience, monitoring customer satisfaction metrics, and suggesting process improvements based on support trends.


Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills, with experience handling inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to build trust with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Technical Support capabilities, including comfort with web-based tools, basic troubleshooting, and learning new software or AI products quickly.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret customer feedback, identify patterns in support requests, and suggest improvements to processes or documentation.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or support role, preferably in technology, SaaS, or AI-related environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple requests with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or CRM systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce Service Cloud) is beneficial.
  • Relevant education or training in business, communications, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
