    What we need:
    Mohawk is looking for a Dye Line Operator in the Dalton, Ga area. In this role, you will be operating dye lines.
    What you'll do:
    • Identify Tank Runs
    • Identify & verify filters are clean and clean as needed
    • Monitor PLCs, computer screens & all set points
    • Adjust Dye Line speeds as needed
    • Monitor J boxes have enough product to run continuously
    • Watch carpet for defects that might cause problems printing.
    • Keeping an eye on Dyeing schedule for change over, etc.
    • Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
    • Follow all established standard operating procedures
    • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
    • Perform other tasks assigned by management

    What you have:
    • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • High school graduate or GED equivalency preferred.
    • Prior experience working in a Dyeing department required, and/or equivalent combination of on the job training and work experience.
    • Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
    • Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
    • May be required to use PC and other department specific database systems.

    What you're good at:
    • Must pay attention to details.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.

    What else?
    • Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit and stoop.
    • Occasionally required to kneel.
    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently throughout an 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift.
    • Must be able to work 8, 10 and or 12-hour shifts either day or night, weekdays or weekends as scheduled.
