    What We Need:
    Provides mechanical and electrical support to ensure efficiency and quality in the production of laminate flooring.
    What You'll Do:
    • Responsible for servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machinery, devices and equipment related to the manufacturing process.
    • Learns production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and support.
    • Executes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
    • Monitors and reacts to routine demand maintenance requirements.
    • Utilizes various mechanical and electrical test equipment, tools, and necessary paper/digital resources to complete assigned tasks.
    • Assists with manufacturing during product change-over.
    • Plans, assists, documents, and implements process improvement techniques and devices.
    • Utilizes machining, electrical, and mechanical trade skills to complete daily tasks.
    • Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
    • Follow all established standard operating procedures.
    • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

    What You Have:
    • Prior maintenance experience in an industrial setting required.
    • Associate's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance preferred.

    What You're Good At:
    • Ability to work independently on projects from assignment to completion.
    • Ability to interpret and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics as needed.
    • Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling utilizing 480vac VFD's, and PLC control logic troubleshooting.
    • Machining, welding, and light fabrication skills preferred.
    • Ability to produce and communicate technical reports.
    • Ability to utilize necessary digital tools, including email and work orders.

    What Else?
    • This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be fluctuating temperatures, and additional department-specific variables. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required, and may include hearing protection, safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, and eye protection.
    • Other working conditions may include working 12 hour shifts and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; walking, bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required.
