Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Buffalo, NY
W2 and Local candidates only.
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our database environments. The ideal candidate will ensure database availability, performance, security, and reliability while supporting business-critical applications.
Job Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain database systems.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure database security, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot database issues and support application teams.
Required Skills:
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery, replication, and high availability.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
