    Position Overview

    CLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking a Pharmacist to manage pharmaceutical services at a federal correctional institution in Cumberland, Maryland. FCI Cumberland is a medium-security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum-security satellite camp in western Maryland, approximately 2.5 hours west of Baltimore. You will oversee medication dispensing, formulary management, and clinical pharmacy services with BOP and DEA compliance.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Dispense medications and counsel providers on drug interactions and alternatives
    • Manage controlled substance inventory with DEA compliance
    • Conduct drug utilization reviews
    • Maintain pharmaceutical inventory and procurement
    • Provide clinical pharmacy consultations
    • Participate in pharmacy and therapeutics committee
    • Supervise pharmacy technicians
    • Ensure BOP pharmacy policy compliance
    Required Qualifications
    • PharmD or BS Pharmacy
    • Active, unrestricted Maryland pharmacist license (or ability to obtain)
    • Current BLS certification
    • U.S. citizenship required
    • Ability to pass federal background investigation
    Preferred Qualifications
