Markon is seeking a skilled CNO Software Engineer to support the development of advanced cyber capabilities for mission-critical national security programs for the Fort Meade Customer. This role focuses on designing and building software solutions that operate across complex systems and networks. The engineer will work in a collaborative environment to solve technical challenges and deliver impactful capabilities in support of customer missions. Responsibilities * Design and develop hardware- and software-based CNO capabilities
* Assist with the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation
* Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases and data repositories
* Apply knowledge of security concepts and network technologies in software development
* Ensure adherence to software engineering standards and best practices
* Troubleshoot and debug software systems and applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-focused solutions Qualifications Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph through this Customer
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 14+ years of experience in software development/engineering, or High School diploma and 18+ years of experience
* Experience with Python and/or C/C++ programming
* Experience troubleshooting and debugging software systems
* Understanding of software development principles and lifecycle
Preferred * Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
* Experience with software analysis or reverse engineering
* Understanding of assembly programming concepts
* Familiarity with CNO development concepts
* Experience with unit testing frameworks and development best practices Salary Range USD $190,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.
