We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Spacecraft Flight Cable and Harness Design team as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM).
The team supports multiple lines of business at Lockheed Martin which means you could be designing wiring systems for the next mission to Mars or the next generation of GPS satellites.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like?
• Provide leadership on a fast paced team from requirements through development and production.
• Be responsible to assure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle.
• Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Participate in technical reviews and audits.
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects (harness/cable) within area of assigned responsibility.
• Help develop timely resolution plans for issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation.
• Help resolve engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of parts procurements, headcount challenges, and resource constraints.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Flight Cable & Harness design or production experience, having lead Program Design teams and been sought after as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis, having proven successes in leading investigation teams and implementing Corrective Actions.
• 8+ years professional experience with degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Team leadership experience.
• Cost Account Management (CAM) experience.
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
• Ability to attain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; thus, a US Citizen.
Desired skills
• Program planning experience.
• Experience in using Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model-based engineering.
• Collaborate with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products.
• Cable and Harness production experience or working with production centers.
• Experience in presenting to leadership and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
