    Job description

    Job Summary:
    LG Electronics is a global leader in technology dedicated to creating innovative solutions for a better life. The Bilingual Business Manager will lead product strategy for the Washing Machine category, drive cross-functional alignment, and evaluate market opportunities to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
    Responsibilities:
    • Lead product strategy for the Washing Machine category, including long‑term roadmap development, business case creation, and market positioning.
    • Drive cross‑functional alignment with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to execute product launches and enhancements.
    • Evaluate market opportunities by overseeing in‑depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform product decisions.
    • Own pricing strategy, promotional direction, and margin management to ensure the product line meets revenue and profitability targets.
    • Recommend and prioritize product enhancements to improve user experience, performance, and competitiveness.
    • Develop and manage go‑to‑market strategies, including launch plans, messaging, and training content for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor product performance post‑launch and lead corrective actions to address issues or capitalize on opportunities.
    • Guide complex system or configuration requirements in partnership with technical teams.
    • Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and global counterparts.
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience in product management, category management, strategic marketing, or related fields within consumer electronics, appliances, or other high‑tech industries.
    • Proven success managing end‑to‑end product lifecycles, including roadmap development, cross‑functional leadership, and P&L or margin accountability.
    • Strong analytical capability with proficiency in MS Office—especially Excel—plus experience with data‑driven decision‑making.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean strongly preferred due to frequent collaboration with HQ.
