Job description
This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of LanceSoft
Job Description:
Role Overview:
- Assist in disassembling system components to fix failures or implement changes
- Help troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults
- Support validation and verification testing of systems and components
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products based on specifications
- Assist with safe handling of aerospace vehicles (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations)
- Work under supervision
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent basic education)
- Ability to obtain security clearance after starting the job
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- At least 1 year of experience using tools and following work instructions
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
- 1+ year of experience in soldering and assembling equipment components
- 1+ year of experience using handheld or power tools
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications
- 1+ year of experience working under a microscope
