Job description

Senior Procurement Manager to support capital projects procurement—helping ensure the right vendors, consultants, contractors, and services are engaged on time, cost-effectively, compliantly, and with quality and risk controls in place.
Required Skills

  • Proven ability to manage procurement activities in line with organizational policies, sourcing guidelines, and contractual requirements (including Master Services Agreements and project-specific Statements of Work)
  • Experience supporting procurement and contracting strategies aligned to project requirements, risk, timelines, and market conditions
  • Ability to coordinate procurement reviews/approvals, compile documentation, ensure submission completeness, and track decisions/actions through approval
  • Hands-on capability across procurement lifecycle activities, including competitive bidding, supplier selection, risk analysis, contract negotiation, purchase orders, and invoicing
  • Experience running RFx processes (RFI / RFQ / RFP), including supplier panel and service rate card initiatives
  • Ability to procure professional services, construction-related services, and other project delivery resources
  • Strong working knowledge of construction contract administration (including items such as liens and AIA contracts)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; highly articulate with a clear, analytical approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making
  • Proficiency with required tools/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Windows OS
  • Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Project (including Microsoft Projects)

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience evaluating alternative sourcing opportunities (local/regional/global) to improve value, quality, resilience, and speed to market
  • Background supporting supplier onboarding and coordinating with internal teams and third-party service providers to gather supplier information
  • Experience providing procurement guidance, training, and ongoing support to project managers and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with implementing project-specific contracting procedures using industry best practices
  • Experience advising on risk mitigation measures (e.g., insurance requirements, confidentiality agreements, performance bonds)

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience

Other Requirements

  • Professional membership required: RICS, AACE, or another relevant professional body
