Commercial HVAC Service Sales Rep

What You Will Do

  • Drive sales of Johnson Controlsservice offeringsto building owners, primarily at the Director level
  • Promote theJohnson Controls value propositionby delivering technical solutions and operational expertise
  • Build and managelong-term customer relationshipswith target and managed accounts
  • Positionrenewable service agreementsas the foundation of managed account relationships
  • Seek out, qualify, and close new sales opportunities while expanding Johnson Controls' footprint within accounts
  • Consistently achieve monthly sales goals

How You Will Do It

  • Sell Johnson Controls offeringspersuasively, persistently, and confidentlyto building owners at the D-level
  • Focus on improving existing buildings to help owners achieve their business objectives
  • Manage ongoing opportunities, with emphasis onselling services and retrofits
  • Renew and expandmulti-year service agreementswith new and existing customers
  • Build strong partnerships with decision-makers and influencers
  • Actively listen, probe, and identify customer concerns while speaking their language

What We Look For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degreeOR4+ years ofCommercial HVAC Sales experience
  • Minimum of6 years progressive field sales experience
  • At least1 year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects
  • Strong commitment tointegrity and qualityin business
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability toinfluence decision-makersat key levels

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $63,900-$96,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
