As a Principal Engineer, you'll shape Intuit's long-term technical direction. You'll anticipate problems that need new solutions, lead the conversion of existing systems to AI-native, and drive decisions that span business units. You bring deep software engineering craft alongside strong applied AI experience. Qualifications

12+ years developing systems and software for large scale business environments
-
8+ years designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applications
-
Hands-on experience integrating AI into production software, ideally driving AI projects standalone with commoditized AI tools and agentic workflows.

Experience modernizing systems toward AI-native patterns; experience driving AI architectural decisions across multiple teams a plus
-
Full-stack experience with modern AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Bedrock), LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python.

Depth in at least one of:

Front-end: React, Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android)

Back-end: Java, TypeScript, Spring, Node.js

Production experience in AWS or GCP

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred
