    Overview

    At Intuit, we are powering prosperity around the world by building an AI-driven expert platform that transforms our tax and accounting products into intelligent, done-for-you experiences for consumers and small businesses. To serve this mission, we build platform capabilities that help accelerate our developers and business teams to create, build, and scale production-grade AI applications. As a Principal Product Manager for the Agent Development Platform, you will lead the evolution of Intuit's internal Agent Software Development Lifecycle (ADLC), defining the paved path for how Intuit builds and deploys agents at scale. Intuit builds and deploys agents at scale onto a single, production-grade paved path. In this high-impact role, you will bring together SOTA agent harness capabilities and starter kits to empower thousands of internal builders to deploy secure, scalable AI agents with velocity.


    Responsibilities

    • Define and drive the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Intuit's internal Agent SDLC—including the Agent Starter Kit (ASK), Agent Sandbox, and developer productivity tooling—scaling active developer adoption and cutting agent development and deployment time in half.
    • Operate in high-ambiguity environments by diagnosing pain points across independently built business unit agent stacks, crafting compelling platform value propositions, and pitching next-generation architectures to drive platform convergence.
    • Stitch together the macro ecosystem of Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) capabilities, context/memory architectures, and agent harness systems within the AI Platform team, seamlessly integrating them into cohesive developer products.
    • Monitor and evaluate frontier industry trends across proprietary technology stacks (e.g., Claude/Anthropic SDKs, OpenAI ecosystems) and open-source agent frameworks, establishing safe, pluggable, and config-driven enterprise standards.
    • Partner closely with engineering, architecture, security and business unit leaders to navigate technical trade-offs with an AI-first mindset, accelerating data-driven decisions and inspiring cross-functional teams toward managed agent development.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of product management experience delivering complex developer platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, or enterprise software development lifecycle tools (or equivalent practical experience).
    • Deep technical fluency in state-of-the-art agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Claude SDK, OpenAI SDK, open-source agent tooling), model context/memory architectures, and AI-native harness capabilities and using them at scale.
    • Proven track record of navigating ambiguity, diagnosing friction in disparate systems, pitching platform products to internal stakeholders, and successfully driving multi-team platform convergence.
    • Exceptional strategic storytelling, boundaryless influence, and leadership capability with the ability to fly at multiple altitudes—from granular technical requirements to high-level platform architecture.

    Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.     The expected base pay range for this position is:
    Mountain View $243,000 - $328,500
    San Diego, CA $230,000- $311,000
