Job description

We are seeking a senior communications manager to lead highly visible, impactful employee communications programs as part of Intuit's communications team. This leader will be responsible for driving internal communications strategies that inform, engage, and galvanize Intuit's employees around critical priorities for the People and Places organization. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing and storytelling skills, deep business acumen, and operational rigor to deliver innovative, end-to-end communications programs that deliver business outcomes.


Responsibilities


  • Drive comprehensive communications programs to support year-end performance management and development, including goal-setting, mid-year, and year-end.

  • Partner with the P&P technology teams to drive necessary awareness and change management for tool launches or changes that are foundational to our performance management and development initiatives.

  • Develop proactive, creative storytelling around career growth to reinforce Intuit as a great place to work for current and future employees. 

  • Drive communications for the P&P priority, "Elevating the Manager," operating as a thought partner to support managers and amplify their impact through AI-driven initiatives. 

  • Deliver all P&P communications for Manager Central to help ensure that managers are equipped to lead their teams on critical P&P programs; continue to operate as interim MCC manager until the transition plan is complete.

  • Serve as the lead communicator for the Wall of Fame, a highly visible, bi-annual initiative that celebrates companywide promotions.

  • Be a thought partner and driver of Voice of the Employee (VoE) initiatives, launching modern listening strategies that enable Intuit to regularly understand and act on employee feedback.

  • Serve as a trusted partner and subject matter expert to stakeholders in P&P to advise on a number of initiatives.

  • Collaborate across the communications organization to contribute to big rocks and mission-based teams that accelerate our collective impact, including serving as a key contributor to the corporate employee communications team.

  • Drive data-backed communications strategies by measuring, testing, and deriving insights that enable us to deliver on our outcomes.

  • Monitor industry trends and bring outside-in perspectives that enable us to continuously innovate and move our communications programs forward.


Qualifications


  • Significant experience (15+years) in communications, ideally within the technology sector.

  • Ability and eagerness to travel to Intuit sites, including our MTV HQ regularly.

  • Strong business acumen - ability to translate strategic information into clear and concise messages.

  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with a very high bar for quality and strong attention to detail.

  • A progressive approach to communications, with an appetite to embrace existing and emerging tools and technologies to engage employees in the most relevant and impactful ways.

  • A reputation for being a self-starter, innovative, enthusiastic, and intellectually curious. Willingness and ability to act as a change agent and offer and advance a data-driven point of view.

  • Ability to develop and effectively manage strong working relationships with leaders and partners at all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once and drive them forward with clarity and speed.

  • A natural embrace of "boundaryless leadership," with focus on collaborating cross- functionally to drive an outcome.
