Title: Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Beverly, MA

Role Overview
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and drive manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to support product launches, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure successful production ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead NPI projects from concept through production launch.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product manufacturability, assembly, and testing.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks through process controls and end-of-line testing.
• Support product releases by coordinating BOM structures, procurement strategies, and production readiness.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop work instructions, training materials, and production tooling/fixtures.
• Provide production floor support and mentor junior engineers.
• Partner with Quality teams to reduce NCMR and CAPA-related issues.
• Monitor and report manufacturing KPIs and operational metrics.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with electromechanical assemblies and manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience supporting product launches from concept to production.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA, and GD&T.
• Experience with ERP/PLM systems; Dynamics 365 and Bluestar PLM are a plus.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
