Job description
Senior Calibration-Metrology Engineer | Houston, TX | Onsite
We are looking for a Senior Calibration-Metrology Engineer to support calibration and measurement management systems within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and improve calibration and measurement management systems.
- Develop calibration procedures, metrology SOPs, and measurement uncertainty methodologies.
- Perform Measurement Uncertainty, PAR, TMU, and RSS Guard Banding analysis.
- Conduct OOT/OOC investigations, product impact assessments, and criticality reviews.
- Optimize calibration intervals using statistical analysis and risk-based decision making.
- Improve calibration methods for manufacturing and inspection equipment.
- Support regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
- Develop training and qualification programs for metrology personnel.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, Laboratory Operations, and Quality teams.
