Indotronix is seeking a Senior Security Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA, and multiple client tech hubs with our Direct client

Position Title: Senior Security Specialist

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, and Phoenix, AZ

Hybrid 2 to 3 days in office

Acceptable time zone(s): Some adaptability depending on regional zones

 Days of the week:  M-F

Working Hours: 8 AM-5 PM core hours 

OT: May need to support deployments outside core hours, would work to adjust hours accordingly   

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry background:

Security/Technical  Banking a plus, not required

Roles and Responsibilities:

*Responsible for identifying and correcting a variety of data management issues.

Working with cross-functional teams

*Coordinate with other infrastructure, engineering, and application project/support teams to ensure new policies/assets are deployed and issues impacting tools and systems are resolved quickly and effectively without adversely impacting the affected business systems

*Serve as technical expert and demonstrate hands-on-keyboard experience with endpoint detection and response (NDR), network detection and response tools, and/or endpoint or network technologies

•Enable and continuously mature security capabilities and services to effectively manage risk of the attack surface

•Evaluate and improve security capabilities, services, technologies, integrations, procedures, and processes continuously and offer options and recommendations to mature the NDR program

•Learn current and new security technologies continuously and quickly apply knowledge to achieve success within the organization

•Participate in on-call rotation, respond to security incidents and technology incidents promptly, and lead efforts troubleshooting efforts and restoration activities to restore services and/or reduce risk to the organization

Must Have Technical Skills: 4-6yrs

•Detection development

•Network Monitoring

•Ability to read a room, identify and leverage institutional knowledge, and woo stakeholders with opposing views

•Ability to see around the corner, hope for the best, and plan for the worst, and exercise a healthy balance between security and accessibility

•Ability to define problems clearly and concisely, develop action plans with options, including pros and cons to those options, and offer your recommendation to address the problem directly

•Ability to align with leadership's expectations, offer an appropriate level of challenge when appropriate, and ensure your direct reports are running at the most optimal level of performance

•Ability to embrace hard work, lots of work, but know when to leave early and let the foot off the pedal

1st Round 1 hr w/HM
