Indotronix is seeking a Data Center Engineer in Sandston, VA for our Direct client

Position Title: Data Center Engineer

Position Location: Sandston, VA

Ability to work remote: No - full onsite

Acceptable time zone(s): EST

Days of the week: Tuesday - Saturday

Working Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM EST

Duration: Contract-to-hire

Industry background:

Project management experience is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role focuses on project work and daytime coordination of the night team's efforts.

Coordinating and performing Physical data center operations such as rack and stack, structured copper and fiber cabling installation, hardware break-fix, and asset management.

Must Have Technical Skills:

- Direct experience with physical data center operations such as rack and stack, structured copper and fiber cabling.

- Hardware break-fix - Asset Management

- Solid understanding of power, cooling, and physical security controls.

- Team members are expected to operate within formal change, incident, and access management processes.

- ServiceNow

- DCIM

Soft Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams, vendors, and remote hands.

Education/Certifications:

HS diploma with experience

Interview Process:

Virtual interview with a panel of management staff; second interview as needed.
