Job description

Indotronix is seeking an :Project Engineer Level 5, Long Beach, CA

Shifts: 1st, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Is Clearance Required to Start?: No
OT/DOT expected?: possible OT opportunities
Bachelors degree and 15+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, strategy, and execution support to the Avionics and Development leadership team.
Drive cross-functional coordination and integration across engineering and program teams.
Lead complex problem-solving efforts across system, hardware, and software domains.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and present technical and program updates.
Mentor and guide junior engineers to support team growth and capability development.
Ensure alignment between technical execution and business/program objectives.
Maintain accountability for stakeholder satisfaction and successful program delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of experience leading complex technical, strategic, and organizational projects.
Experience managing development projects across all phases of hardware and software development, including testing and qualification.
Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate across teams and leadership levels.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills across system, hardware, and software architectures.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with military aircraft programs.
Background in US Government (USG), Aerospace, and/or DoD/DoW projects.
Experience working in a matrixed organizational structure.
Familiarity with PMBOK concepts and practical application, including EVMS.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring capabilities.
