    Job description

    Schedule Requirements: Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays.
    Role
    The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.
    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, Colleagues and hotel premises
    • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
    • Investigate and report any violations to law or hotel policy
    • Provide First Aid and C.P.R. as required
    • Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
    • Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
    • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
