    Discover the beauty of San Diego, on the waterfront, in the heart of downtown at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. This iconic hotel features 1,628 guestrooms and 320,000 square feet of event space with stunning Pacific Ocean and city views. We are looking for the very best to join our AAA 4-Diamond Hotel, featured in the Top 10 of all Meeting Hotels in the United States per Cvent.
    The Top of Hyatt Greeter is responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. This individual has the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Greeter at Hyatt.
    This is a seasonal position with full time availability required from S eptember 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027.
    Job Duties Include:
    • Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for the staff.
    • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
    • Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
    • Perform regular inspection of the dining rooms and maintain cleanliness of the facility while communicating with management areas of concern.
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
    • Ability to prioritize well and remember all guests' requests.
    • Openness to constructive feedback and being coached/ mentored.

    The wage for this position is $28.25. This is the pay rate for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay.
