    The Event Concierge serves as the primary on-site contact for meeting planners during their event, acting as the liaison between Hyatt's Event Sales and Event Planning teams and the client. This highly visible role is responsible for ensuring a seamless event experience by anticipating needs, coordinating with hotel departments, and responding promptly to requests throughout the event.

    The Event Concierge oversees events taking place at both the hotel and McCormick Place Convention Center, maintaining a strong understanding of event details, hotel meeting facilities, and operational procedures. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering Hyatt's commitment to authentic hospitality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary on-site contact for meeting planners throughout their event.
    • Welcome clients and conduct regular check-ins to ensure event expectations are met.
    • Coordinate with hotel departments to execute event details and resolve operational issues.
    • Respond promptly to guest and client requests, anticipating needs whenever possible.
    • Monitor event progress and communicate updates to Event Sales and Event Planning teams.
    • Ensure a seamless guest experience while representing Hyatt's service standards.
    • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including all shifts (days and evenings as needed), weekends, and holidays based on business demands.

    WAGE: the hourly wage for this position is $27.75.
