At HR Green, we help communities grow and thrive through thoughtful infrastructure solutions. This role supports our Water Resources team and collaborates across disciplines — including Water Resources, Potable Water, and Wastewater — giving you exposure to how systems come together.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll work on local and national projects and gain experience across the full project lifecycle — from planning and modeling through design and construction.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the design and delivery of water resources projects (stormwater, flood mitigation, stream stabilization)
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Collaborate across Water Resources, Wastewater, and Potable Water teams
  • Assist with master planning efforts and long-term solutions
  • Conduct field visits and support construction activities
  • Communicate with project teams, clients, and contractors

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • ~4+ years of experience
  • PE license (or ability to obtain to obtain with 6 months)
  • Experience with GIS, Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred.
