Job description

Senior Front End Software Engineer
Location: On-site, Glen Allen, VA
Schedule: 5 days per week in office
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain multi-tiered enterprise applications. This individual will play a key role in front end architecture and development using Angular while collaborating closely with enterprise architects, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with the ability to communicate complex application concepts clearly to both technical peers and business leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level, multi-tiered applications
  • Lead front end architecture and development efforts using Angular
  • Collaborate directly with Enterprise Architects and development teams to improve internal systems, integrations, and utilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to automate and optimize business processes
  • Present technical solutions and architectural concepts to senior leadership and business stakeholders
  • Introduce modern technologies and development trends to enhance system performance and productivity
  • Support both internal and external clients with scalable, maintainable solutions

Required Qualifications
  • Senior-level experience designing and developing the front end of enterprise applications
  • Strong expertise in Angular and modern front end development
  • Experience in Java and AWS environments
  • Proficiency with web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, Angular, NodeJS
  • Experience working across Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with large-scale application engineering and architecture
