FindTalent is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead roadway transportation projects. This position will oversee medium-to-large-scale projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from planning through closeout. The role requires balancing client expectations with operational execution while mentoring project teams and fostering growth among engineers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full project lifecycle for roadway design and transportation infrastructure projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and contracts to ensure successful delivery within scope and quality standards.

  • Supervise and mentor project teams, assign tasks, and monitor work for accuracy and completeness.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to resolve project issues and achieve project objectives.

  • Review engineered designs and plans for compliance with applicable state, regional, and local standards.

  • Provide leadership in temporary traffic control (MOT) planning, roadway pavement design, and overall transportation solutions.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.

  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience in transportation engineering.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads/Geopak.

  • Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.

  • Knowledge of codes, legal requirements, and roadway design standards in Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects.

  • Expertise in Temporary Traffic Control (MOT) planning and roadway pavement design.

  • Active participation in professional or industry organizations.
