    Job description

    Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Data Collection Technician to join their AR/VR Product Data Operations team. As a Data Collection Technician, you will be part of the AR/VR Product Data Operations team supporting cross-functional teams including project managers, stakeholders, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Data Collection Technician
    Location: Onsite - Fremont, CA
    Duration: 3 month contract, possible extension
    Hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM PST

    Pay Range: $25/hour

    What's the Job?

    1. Conduct internal research studies, sourcing participants, guiding them through study procedures, and collecting data while maintaining confidentiality.
    2. Compose consistent reports, flagging identified trends and issues found throughout data collections.
    3. Drive project success by providing continual feedback for collection teams, both internal and external.
    4. Recruit internal participants through various recruitment practices.
    5. Support training and continual improvement of teams, conducting weekly QA audits, and authoring guidelines to promote clarity.

    What's Needed?

    1. Bachelor's degree in technology or behavioral science (e.g., human-computer interaction, psychology, statistics, cognitive science, information systems).
    2. Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently.
    3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    4. Superior analysis, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    5. Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets/Excel).
