Position SummaryThe Planning & Reliability Engineer will support Product Verification & Validation (PV&V) activities by planning, coordinating, and tracking testing programs. This role focuses on managing test execution processes rather than performing hands-on testing, working closely with design engineering, lab teams, and validation engineers to ensure timely and effective program delivery.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and coordinate testing activities for product development programs ranging from component-level to full system validation
- Develop and execute PV&V plans including virtual analysis, lab testing, and field validation
- Track program progress, perform critical analysis, and communicate updates across cross-functional teams
- Coordinate work across engineers, technicians, and mechanics to evaluate product performance and reliability
- Collaborate with design, validation, and lab teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines
- Provide technical support to cross-functional groups including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply management, and marketing
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with product development and/or verification & validation testing
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must be demonstrated in work experience)
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with data analysis and PV&V testing processes
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment or similar products
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 8D, 5 Whys)
