Job description

Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Enterprise Architect supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I).
NEC serves as the primary enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of War. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering Enterprise Center, it applies current best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into effective technical specifications and solutions.
This is a full-time position at Fort Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Enterprise Architecture expertise to support data-driven enterprise decisions
  • Support senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration
  • Collaborate with Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Enterprise Architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE)
  • Develop detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed - All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts

Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS with SCI eligibility
Education: BS or BA in engineering, computer science, or educational equivalent
Years of Experience: 5 years of experience
  • Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM) compliance.
  • Digital Mission Engineering Environment
  • Systems modeling language
  • Developing architecture artifacts per industry standards
  • Aligning EA with Scaled Agile Framework

Additional Experience:
  • Experience using the Cameo (or other) modeling tool
