    Job Summary

    Aretum is seeking a Senior Mobility Engineer to provide full-time administration and operational support for enterprise mobility systems and applications. This role will support the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) team by maintaining mobile platforms, resolving technical issues, strengthening configuration and security practices, and improving the user experience across a diverse enterprise environment. The position requires hands-on expertise with Workspace ONE UEM and Windows Server administration, as well as availability to participate in flexible scheduling and 24x7 on-call support.

    Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support for mobile device, mobility platform, and application issues through the ticketing system, telephone, and email.
    • Administer, support, and maintain enterprise mobility systems and applications, including Workspace ONE UEM.
    • Coordinate and assist with the installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of mobile platform software, hardware, and devices for internal teams, remote employees, vendors, and contractors.
    • Troubleshoot complex mobility and endpoint issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions or escalations.
    • Support Windows Server 2019 or later environments, including server administration, vulnerability remediation, and security patching.
    • Perform configuration management activities and maintain accurate technical, operational, and system documentation.
    • Assist with the development and improvement of IT procedures that increase efficiency, enhance workflow, strengthen security, and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with senior staff, organizational stakeholders, internal systems administrators, and non-technical users to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
    • Participate in flexible scheduling and 24x7 on-call technical support rotations as required.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to mobility architecture, device management, platform reliability, and service delivery.

    Requirements

    • Four or more years of operations support experience with Windows Server 2019 or later.
    • Four or more years of operations support experience with the Workspace ONE UEM mobile device management platform.
    • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, management, vulnerability remediation, and patching.
    • Demonstrated experience providing enterprise technical support for mobile devices, mobility platforms, and related applications.
    • Experience performing configuration management and developing technical and operational documentation.
    • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in a 24x7 on-call technical support rotation.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior staff, stakeholders, systems administrators, vendors, contractors, and end users.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Five or more years of experience supporting the design and implementation of mobile device management solutions in an enterprise environment.
    • Experience with Workspace ONE Access.
    • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications.
    • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
    • Additional experience with enterprise mobility architecture, access management, endpoint security, or device lifecycle management.

    Travel Requirements

    Travel may be required based on client or project needs. Any anticipated travel will be communicated in advance.
