About the Role
The Director, Product Marketing for Legal & Insurance will lead the development and execution of product marketing strategy across the vertical. This role defines the story of our products—what we build, why it matters, and how it drives value for our customers. The Director translates product strategy into compelling narratives, empowers commercial teams, and partners with Growth and Demand Gen to drive adoption, pipeline, and market impact. This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of product marketing. There may be future opportunities to take on people leadership as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging: Own the overarching product narrative and messaging framework; ensure consistency and differentiation across products, solutions, and channels.
  • GTM & Launch Strategy: Set the strategy for product launches and go-to-market plans (including high-level pricing advisory); lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Sales Enablement: Create battlecards, talk tracks, competitive briefs, and onboarding programs to ensure Sales and Customer teams communicate with clarity and confidence.
  • Content Leadership: Develop high-impact content, including white papers, case studies, solution overviews, and thought leadership materials; ensure alignment to strategic priorities.
  • Campaign Partnership: Collaborate with Growth & Demand Gen to ensure product marketing strategy informs campaigns and drives measurable outcomes.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Own insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning and pricing to shape product and marketing strategy.
  • Customer Advisory Board (CAB) Engagement: Partner with CX leadership to define customer storytelling, narrative strategy, and event messaging.
  • Leadership & Influence: Serve as a senior leader within Product, driving alignment and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

What You Bring

  • 8-12+ years of product or solutions marketing experience in B2B SaaS, health tech, or data-driven industries, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to craft differentiated messaging and translate complex technical concepts into business value for multiple audiences.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills; experienced in influencing Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Exceptional storytelling and executive-level communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning and hands-on execution.
  • Experience leading initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams; interest or potential to grow into people management over time.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$160,000—$190,000 USD
