Credence has an upcoming need for an Operations Specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Dayton Program Management Office by providing daily direct operational support and assistance to the Program Managers managing multi-million dollar contracts for the U.S. Air Force, Department of War and other government agencies. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Reviewing, editing and compiling Program Deliverable and Status Reports
  • Reviewing, processing and tracking employee travel requests.
  • Reviewing and approve expense reports for accuracy and proper documentation prior to reimbursement.
  • Performing on-boarding and off-boarding activities for new or departing employees.
  • Track and manage employee data using spreadsheets, ensuring timely updates and confidentiality.
  • Recording, maintaining and tracking accurate notes and meeting minutes as required.
  • Maintaining accurate equipment supply records.
  • Inventory office supplies and order or purchase items as needed.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of contract tasks, deliverables and suspense tracking.
  • Interacting with employees, task leads, business partners, government and clients as necessary.
  • Acts as employee local liaison to Program Managers and corporate staff.
  • Planning and assisting in business meetings and events such as job fairs, employee gatherings, etc.
  • Other duties as needed or directed by Program Managers.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to:
  • Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint 
  • Experience in Time keeping tools (Deltek, Costpoint)
  • Experience in Travel and Expense Management software (SAP, Concur)
  • Strong understanding of international travel requirements
  • Experience managing travel in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and General Services Administration (GSA) guidelines, to support accurate, policy-compliant travel planning and reimbursement standards
  • Records Management skills
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to take accurate and detailed meeting minutes
  • Knowledge of DOD, USAF and government contracts preferred
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles preferred
  • After hours work and some travel may be required
