Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered products, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for inspecting components, subassemblies, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with inspection tools and documentation, and the ability to identify and communicate quality concerns in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties:

  • Perform visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products using inspection procedures, drawings, work instructions, and sampling plans.
  • Review production orders, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accurate inspection of products and components.
  • Utilize calibrated measurement tools, gauges, and inspection equipment to verify product conformance.
  • Document inspection results accurately within ERP systems and approved quality control forms.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of product requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or quality issues; collaborate with quality leadership on resolution and disposition decisions.
  • Support final inspection and release activities for completed products and packaged goods.
  • Ensure inspection equipment is functioning properly and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain consistency and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing, production, or regulated environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Understanding of measurement techniques, metrology principles, and inspection equipment.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to enter and maintain quality records in an ERP system.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality concerns.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements accurately.
