Job description


About the role:


We are seeking a Project Manager who can lead small to extra large physical security installation projects for our clients. The Project Manager will be responsible to plan, execute and deliver projects on time while maintaining client standards.


Candidate Requirements:


● Understanding of access control systems, video management and intrusion detection

● 3-5 years of experience in physical security installation and project management

● CSPM certification preferred but not required

● Must have a valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation

● Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365


Location & Role Commitments:


● Full time (40 hours per week).

● Complete weekly site walks for all assigned projects.

● This position operates as an on-site role which requires a Project Manager to be in office at minimum of three times a week. The office is located in San Jose, CA.

○ The requirement listed above may be subject to change if a client requires an Embedded Project Manager. An Embedded Project Manager may be required to be at a specific job site full time or for an amount of time specified by the client.

● Willingness to travel to different locations throughout the bay area and northern California.


Job Summary:


The Project Manager is responsible to organize and oversee the execution of a project. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring a project is completed on time, within budget and according to client specifications. This role requires collaboration with other members of the team to manage resources, monitor progress, mitigate risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsabilities:


Project coordination by setting up project meetings with project teams, vendors and contractors.

● Delegate tasks, provide support to technicians and resolve issues on projects.

● Risk management by identifying potential project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing issues that could impact project success.

● Track project progress by regularly reviewing project status, identifying potential issues and developing a plan to keep the project on track.

● Travel weekly to job sites to review project status and installation progress.

● Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, clients, senior management and team members by providing regular updates and addressing concerns.

● Execute quality control by ensuring that project deliverables are meeting client standards.

● Post project evaluation by analyzing project performance, identifying lessons learned and documenting best practices for future projects.
