Job description

As a Minor Safety Senior Analyst supporting our client, you will play a critical role in helping a major global technology company maintain a secure and resilient online environment. This position is dedicated to reviewing and responding to safety and abuse incidents involving minors on the client's platform, conducting targeted investigations into behavioral abuse and threat actors, and contributing high-quality analysis within a fast-paced workflow. You will join a collaborative, mission-driven team that works across disciplines to protect vulnerable populations while enabling the client to operate safely, responsibly, and effectively in an ever-evolving risk landscape.
This role will cover Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am-5:00 pm local time.
  • Review abuse and safety incident reports, specifically targeting minors on the client's platform, take appropriate action per operations policies and follow through clearly and consistently on every report
  • Investigate behavioral abuse and threat actors on the Client's platform in order to understand techniques, impact and attribution
  • Participate in high velocity analytic workflow ensuring tight deadlines are consistently met, a high bar of analytic excellence is consistently applied and reporting deliverables reflect best practice intelligence assessments.
  • Prepare written analytic products, presentations and strategic insights for senior leadership and to the broader organization.
  • Drive improvement initiatives by providing guidance on policy development and executing projects that will enhance existing workflows
  • Review team members' work, provide feedback, create and deliver training
  • Identify and escalate new issues and trends
  • Assist in improving our support resources and content
  • Serve as a consultative partner with our vendor team and provide expertise for processing all types of requests with a high degree of quality and efficiency
  • You set an example and are an active mentor of others, showing flexibility and impeccable teamwork in order to effectively prioritize competing demands

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Behavioural Abuse/Influence Operations investigations.
  • Deep investigative experience in identifying and analyzing information from open sources, social media and deep and dark web avenues.
  • Experience with Analytic/Intelligence writing.
  • Strong background in serving as a liaison between teams and senior management, with demonstrated ability to ensure quality control and effective communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to align team objectives with broader program strategies, including developing and improving SOPs to support global operations.
  • Experience writing finished investigative products with excellent communication, strategic and investigative skills.
  • Developed understanding of the interaction between threatening online behavior and physical security incidents.
  • A strong understanding and practical knowledge of the intelligence cycle, source evaluation and techniques used to ensure objectivity, actionability and relevance of intelligence product.

The base salary range for this position is $80000-$100000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
