    Job description

    Baca Saw Operator – Construction Resources Surfaces (Decatur, GA)


    Overview
    Construction Resources Surfaces is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented individual to join our production team as a Baca Saw Operator. This role involves working with automated cutting equipment to support the fabrication of stone and surface materials used in residential and commercial projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate and monitor a robotic cutting system equipped with a rotating saw
    • Follow production schedules and job specifications to ensure accurate material processing
    • Assist with preparing materials before cutting and organizing finished pieces afterward
    • Perform basic equipment checks and communicate any issues to the supervisor
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
    • Support general shop operations as needed

    Qualifications

    • Preferably 2–3 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or machine operation
    • Ability to learn and operate automated or computer‑assisted machinery
    • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, industrial environment
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures
    • Reliable attendance and a team‑oriented mindset

    Work Environment
    This position is based in our Decatur, Georgia facility and involves hands‑on work with stone materials and production equipment.
