    Job description

Join the Charleston Sales Team at The Budd Group - Now Hiring Jr. BDM!
Are you a go-getter with a knack for opening doors?
The Budd Group is looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to join our Charleston team. We don't just provide facility services; we provide solutions that help our neighbors thrive. If you're resilient, persuasive, and ready to take the next step in your sales career, we want to meet you!
Why You'll Love This Role: As a Jr. BDM, you are the engine of our growth. You'll be out in the community, identifying new opportunities for our janitorial and maintenance services and building a pipeline that keeps the Lowcountry shining. You won't be stuck behind a desk all day-this role is about movement, networking, and making things happen.
    What You'll Do:
    • Hunt & Gather: Research and qualify leads to find the next big partnership for our janitorial and specialty service lines.
    • Start the Conversation: Drive the sales pipeline through outbound cold calling and securing that all-important first in-person meeting.
    • Be the Expert: Deliver digital and in-person presentations that show potential clients exactly how we can make their lives easier.
    • Grow with Us: Support the AVP in closing contracts and identifying upsell opportunities within our existing, valued client base.
    • Be Present: Represent The Budd Group at trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings.

What You Bring to the Table:
    • The Sales Spark: You have some experience in route sales, call centers, or inside sales and you're hungry for more.
    • Communication Skills: You're comfortable speaking in public and can write a follow-up email that actually gets a response.
    • Tech-Savvy: You're a pro with Google/Microsoft Office, and if you've used a CRM (like Salesforce or ZoomInfo), even better!
    • Resilience: "No" is just a detour to you. You handle objections with grace and stay focused on the goal.
    • The Essentials: You have a valid driver's license and are ready for the 50% travel required to cover your territory and meet your clients face-to-face.

Why The Budd Group? We are a family-owned company that has been a leader in the facility services industry for decades. We value hard work, but we also value our people. When you join our sales team, you're getting a seat at the table and a clear path for professional development.
Ready to start your journey in Charleston? Apply today and let's build something great together!
