Business Development Manager | Brooklyn, NY · $50,000–$60,000 + commission
About the Role A growing fintech company is looking for a savvy, hard-working business development professional to spearhead expansion into new target industries. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build out new markets from scratch — hitting trade shows, cold calling, and turning fresh connections into lasting business. Ideal for someone who's driven by the hunt and wants uncapped upside through residual commission.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Identify and build new target industries for the company
- Develop strategies to break into untapped markets
Business Development & Outreach
- Attend trade shows to generate leads and build industry relationships
- Cold call prospective clients to generate new business
Revenue Growth
- Convert new leads into long-term client relationships
- Drive continued growth through residual commission structure
Qualifications
- Savvy, hard-working, and self-motivated
- Comfortable with cold calling and in-person networking (trade shows)
- Strong drive to build new business from the ground up
